The control and optimization of wireless power transfer (WPT) systems with multiple transmitters (TXs) face significant challenges in practical applications due to varying coupling strength and dynamic load condition. This paper presents a novel online parameter identification method based on the concept of voltage transient detection. By inserting a sensor inductor into the primary resonant tank and monitoring its voltage response to the rising and falling edges of a square voltage input, both mutual inductance and output voltage can be accurately identified. This paper also provides a detailed explanation of the identification principle along with a sensitivity analysis to demonstrate the robustness and reliability of the proposed approach. Experiment results further validate the effectiveness and practicality of the method.
