This paper presents a high-power density 6kW LLC converter for next-generation server high-voltage IBC(HV-IBC) applications. The design features two interleaved half-bridge LLC stages with ±400V input and 50V output, each handling 3kW at 800kHz using GaN devices to reduce passive size and switching losses. Thanks to its compact half-brick form factor and integrated layout, proposed module achieves over 2000W/in3, significantly surpassing conventional 48V IBC. This design delivers high power in a smaller footprint, making it ideal for space-constrained, high performance HV server IBCs.
