This digest presents a steady-state analysis and a specific control method for a resonant switched-capacitor converter (RSCC) operating in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM). Analytical expressions based on charge balance are derived to obtain the conversion ratio and the root-mean-square current of each component, providing practical guidelines for selecting the resonant capacitor and inductor in DCM. A V2 control-based dynamic off-time control (DOTC) is proposed. Experimental results on a hardware prototype verified the feasibility of the proposed control.
