Bosch is expanding its semiconductor business with silicon carbide (SiC) chips in the U.S. and plans to invest $1.9 billion in the Roseville site in California in the coming years. The first SiC semiconductors, which are key building blocks for electric vehicles, will be produced here on 200-millimeter wafers beginning in 2026.
