Francesco Iannuzzo (IEEE Fellow) is currently a professor of reliable power electronics with the Energy Department G. Ferraris and Power Electronics Innovation Center (PEIC), Politecnico di Torino, Turin, Italy. He researches the reliability of wide-bandgap power devices (SiC MOSFETs, GaN HEMTs), their modeling and characterization, condition monitoring, simulation, and optimization for reliability. He has authored or co-authored over 320 publications in journals and international conferences, five book chapters, and an edited book on Modern Power Electronic Devices. He has delivered over 30 technical seminars, keynotes, and several invited speeches at top-tier conferences, including ISPSD, IRPS, EPE, ECCE, PCIM, and APEC.
Francesco Iannuzzo has served the PELS and the IAS as an officer on several occasions. Specifically, he has been Secretary, Vice Chair, and Chair of the IAS Power Electronic Devices and Components Committee, and an Associate Editor for several PELS and IAS journals. He served as the General Chair of ESREF 2018, the 29th European Symposium on Reliability of Electron Devices, Failure Physics, and Analysis; the General Chair of IWIPP 2022, the International Workshop on Integrated Power Packaging; and the General Chair of EPE-ECCE Europe 2023. He is a PELS AdCom Member at Large for the 2024-2026 term.
