Francesco Gennaro

Dr. Francesco Gennaro graduated in Electrical Engineering in 1996 and pursued the Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in 2000 both at University of Catania. After a period as Associate Researcher at University of Catania and a period at University of Wisconsin, Madison (WI), USA, he joined STMicroelectronics in Catania as Application Engineer for Industrial & Consumer Applications.
Dr. Gennaro is a Senior Principal Member of ST Technical Staff with expertise on SMPS and PV converters.
Currently, he is managing the “High Efficiency High Power Converters Applications Team”, in System Research and Applications Group, developing power converters based on Wide Band Gap (WBG) power devices and digital control.
