Sumit Patil works as an application engineer for Texas Instruments C2000 MCU, where he works on MCU based digital power control reference designs for server and industrial power supplies. He received the B.E. degree in electronics from the Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology, University of Pune, Pune, India. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering with the University of Houston, Houston, TX, USA. His research focuses on power converter modelling, design, and control.
