Ludovica Longo received her M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Catania. In 2021, she joined the Power Transistor R&D Modeling team at STMicroelectronics, contributing to the design of power modules through multiphysics simulations, from concept definition to final design freeze.
Since late 2024, she has been a Principal Simulation Engineer at Nexperia, leading simulation activities for power modules and discrete devices. Her expertise includes electrical parasitic extraction, FEM-based thermal analysis, and CFD modeling, supporting robust and thermally efficient designs for industrial and automotive applications. Her research focuses on advanced simulation methodologies bridging electrical, thermal, and fluid-dynamic domains to accelerate design cycles for next-generation of power devices.
