Jung-Ik Ha, PhD (he/him/his)

Jung-Ik Ha received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, in 1995, 1997, and 2001, respectively. From 2001 to 2002, he was a researcher at YASKAWA Electric. From 2003 to 2008, he worked for SAMSUNG Electronics. From 2009 to 2010, he was the CTO of LS Mecapion. Since 2010, he has been with Seoul National University as a Full Professor. He was a Visiting Scholar of MIT from 2016 to 2017. He was the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Power Electronics from 2018 to 2021. He has been an IEEE Fellow since 2018 and the director of the SNU Electric Power Research Institute since 2024. He is the director of the Electrification System Collaborative Laboratory of Hyundai Motors.
His research interests are circuits and control in high-efficiency and integrated electric energy conversions for various industrial fields.
