National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University
Hung Chi Chen (M’06−SM’16) was born in Taichung, Taiwan, in June 1974. He received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from National Tsing-Hua University (NTHU), Hsinchu, Taiwan, in June 1996 and June 2001, respectively, both in the Department of Electrical Engineering.
From 2001 to 2006, he was a Researcher at the Energy and Resources Laboratory (ERL), Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), Hsinchu, Taiwan. In August 2006, he joined the Department of Electrical and Control Engineering, National Chiao-Tung University (NCTU), Hsinchu, Taiwan, where he is currently a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), Hsinchu, Taiwan. From September 2011 to February 2012, he was a visiting scholar in University of Texas in Arlington.
