ShanghaiTech University
Haoyu Wang received the bachelor’s degree with Distinguished Honors from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD, USA, in 2014, both in electrical engineering.
In 2014, he joined the School of Information Science and Technology, ShanghaiTech University, where he is currently a Full Professor with tenure. In 2023, he was a Visiting Academic Fellow with the University of Cambridge, U.K. His research interests include power electronics and power supplies for data centers. He is the author of 90 IEEE Transactions papers. He was invited to give 8 tutorials at various IEEE conferences, including IEEE ZPEC, IEEE PEAC, IEEE PEDG, IEEE PELS webinar, and IES webinar.
Dr. Wang is an IET Fellow. He serves as an Associate Editor of IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONICS and IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON TRANSPORTATION ELECTRIFICATION. He was a Guest Associate Editor of IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON POWER ELECTRONICS.
