Panagiotis Adamopoulos is a PhD Candidate at the University of Patras within the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, where he also earned his integrated Master’s degree. His research at the Lab of Electromechanical Energy Conversion focuses on the design and control of multi-level inverters utilizing bidirectional switches, alongside the development of advanced driving schemes. His work also involves the thermo-electrical characterization of semiconductor devices and converter topologies to optimize power density. He is specifically focused on the miniaturization and cost reduction of multi-level topologies to enable their broader integration into next-generation energy storage and renewable applications.
