CPI TMD Technologies
Alessandro was born in Gemona del Friuli – Italy. He studied Electronics and Telecommunication at the High school. He has received his BSc and MSc degrees both in Power Electronics Engineering (curriculum Robotics) with honours from the Universitá degli Studi di Udine in Italy in 2009. He lives in London since 2015.
Alessandro has a broad experience in Power Electronics applications working in different companies: MetaSystem`s R&D department / BTicino spa (2009-2013) where he was in charge of the development of real-time control simulation and hardware design of 3-phase Grid connected Photovoltaic converter; Danieli Automation spa (2013-2015), a worldwide steel application industry, where he significantly contributed to the new product line of induction heating reheating furnaces for rolling mills; Drayson Technologies (2015-2017) where he developed the Power Management module for RF Energy harvesting and resonant converter for Inductive Power transfer.
Since 2018 he is with CPI TMD Technologies where start as Senior Engineer and them move to Team Leader of Commercial Amplifier in charge of HV PSU development and RF integration to meet final RF specification of the unit and he has recently become Technical Authority for Transponders. He is now Development Enginering Manager in charge to manage new product development from concept to production and after market service.
Alessandro received Professional Electronic Engineer qualification in 2009. He was member of CT82 of CEI - Italian Electrotechnical Committee about grid connection of renewable power sources between 2009 and 2013 and he is IEEE member since 2018. Alessandro is author of 4 publications and 6 international patents.
Alessandro has recently attended the following training: “The Technology Academy – Fundamentals of RF, Wireless and Microwave Measurements” and “Ridley Engineering – Power Supply Design Workshop”. He received MAD award in Oct 2020.
