Gabriel Patulea received his Electrical Engineering Degree (Dipl. Eng.) from the Politehnica University of Bucharest, Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications, Romania, in 1986, and the Master of Applied Science (MASc) degree from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada, in 2015. He has over 40 years of extensive experience in RF and microwave design, as well as high-speed signal and power integrity.
Throughout his career, he has held research and development roles at Newbridge/Alcatel, Cisco Systems, and Research In Motion (BlackBerry). He is currently a Senior RF Developer at Ericsson Canada Inc. contributing to the research and development of 5G and 6G radio systems. His technical interests include RF and microwave circuit design, digital signal processing, and embedded programming.
