Ebraam Fakhuri is a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Nottingham, where he is part of the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Sustainable Electric Propulsion. His research focuses on the next generation of Electric Vehicle (EV) infrastructure, specifically the development of non-isolated bidirectional Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) Integrated Onboard Chargers (iOBCs). Leveraging the high-speed switching capabilities of Gallium Nitride (GaN) power electronics, Ebraam’s work investigates novel converter topologies designed to optimize power density and efficiency. A core pillar of his research involves the implementation of advanced Common-Mode Voltage (CMV) mitigation strategies, ensuring electromagnetic compatibility and system reliability in high-performance transport applications.
