Kerry Sado (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Duhok, Iraq, in 2012, the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Power Engineering and Computer Engineering from the University of Duhok, Iraq, in 2017, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC, USA, in 2024. He is currently a Senior Systems Engineer in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of South Carolina. His research interests include modeling, simulation, and hardware-in-the-loop applications, with a focus on power electronics, digital twin technologies, microgrids, applied AI, and decision-making frameworks for defense-related power and energy systems.
