Seongho Shon is a Postdoctoral Research Scholar with the Center for Advanced Power Systems (CAPS), Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL, USA. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Pusan National University, Busan, South Korea, in 2020, and the integrated M.S./Ph.D. degree in energy and power conversion engineering from the University of Science and Technology (UST), Daejeon, South Korea, in 2024. His research interests include gate-driver architectures and ultrafast protection techniques for wide-bandgap (GaN/SiC) devices, high-voltage and high-frequency resonant converters, and pulsed-power systems.
