Shilpi Mukherjee (IEEE member, author, peer-reviewer) received her Ph.D. from the University of Arkansas and is a Reliability Engineer at Wolfspeed in North Carolina. Her work in the Reliability team under Dr. Donald Gajewski includes developing reliability test plans for various Wolfspeed products, assessing and investigating failure modes and mechanisms to understand root cause, developing lifetime models and applying them to customer-specific mission profiles to help design for reliability. Her Ph.D. work under Dr. Alan Mantooth was on mitigating partial discharge in power modules by developing design rules that prevent partial discharge. Shilpi is an active member of the Society of Women Engineers and IEEE Women in Engineering, and was an active student leader of IEEE in her university in India.
