Wentao Xu is a PhD student in EECS at UC Berkeley, advised by Professor Jessica Boles. He did dual Bachelor's degrees in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering at University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and at Shanghai Jiao Tong University with minors in Math and Intellectual Property Law. His interests include control, modeling and optimization of power electronics. His current research focus is to expand the applications of piezoelectric-based power converters.
