Toshiyuki Zaitsu

Toshiyuki Zaitsu, Ph.D.
Since 2026, Toshiyuki Zaitsu has been a Specially Appointed Professor at Tokyo Metropolitan University and a Technical Advisor to ROHM Co., Ltd., Japan. He received the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Kumamoto University, Japan, in 1985, and the Ph.D. degree from Kyushu University, Japan, in 1997.
From 1985 to 2000, he worked as a power supply engineer at NEC, Japan. He was a Visiting Researcher at the Virginia Power Electronics Center (VPEC), Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, USA, from 1993 to 1994. After that, he held power electronics engineering positions at TDK (2001–2003), TDK Innoveta Inc., USA (2004–2005), Texas Instruments Inc., USA (2006), Texas Instruments Japan (2006–2014), Omron (2015–2021), and ROHM (2021–2025).
