Latha Anekal (Student Member, IEEE) received her B.E. in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Mysore, India in 2011. She has over 9 years of industrial experience in the electric vehicle industry. She is currently pursuing her PhD with the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Smart Transportation Electrification and Energy Research (STEER) Group, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Ontario Tech University, Oshawa, ON, Canada. Her current research interests include electric energy storage systems, battery management systems, power electronics converters, and the application of machine learning and artificial intelligence in the related field.
