Cheng Zhang (S’13–M’16) is currently a Senior Lecturer in Power Electronics at the University of Manchester, the United Kingdom. He received the BEng degree (first-class Hons.) in electronic and communication engineering from the City University of Hong Kong in 2012 and the PhD degree in electronic and electrical engineering from The University of Hong Kong in 2016. His research interests include design and optimisation automation in power electronics, high-frequency ac–dc power conversions and designs and optimizations for wireless power transfer applications.
