Samuel S. Queiroz (Student Member, IEEE) is a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), the Netherlands. He was born in Fortaleza, Brazil, in 1989. He received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará, Fortaleza, Brazil, in 2014, and the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, in 2016. His research interests include solid-state transformers, multilevel power converter systems, control strategies, and energy systems.
