Ba Vu Tran (Member, IEEE) has worked since 2017 in industrial automation and electrical system design, with applications spanning the plastics, biomedical, and geophysical survey industries. He is currently an Electrical Designer with Geotech Ltd., Ontario, Canada, where he leads the development of high-power transmitter systems for airborne geophysical applications. In addition, he serves as an automation consultant with Advanced Process Control Corporation, Ontario, and is a researcher with the Power Electronics and Drives Applications Laboratory (PEDAL), Ontario Tech University. His interests include power electronics, embedded control systems, and industrial automation.
