Azuma Uchida (Student Member) received the M.E. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Graduate School of Engineering, Chiba Institute of Technology, Chiba, Japan. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree at the Graduate School of Engineering, Chiba Institute of Technology, Chiba, Japan.

His research interests include high-frequency and high-efficiency power inverters, ac–dc converters, dc–dc converters, and wireless power transfer (WPT) systems.
