Javad Ebrahimi (Senior Member, IEEE), PhD, Principal Research Associate, Department of Electrcal and Computer Engineerign, Queen's University, Kingstopn, ON, Canada.
Dr. Ebrahimi received the Ph.D. degree in power electronics from Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran, in 2017. From 2017 to 2019, he was the R\&D Director at Behrad Consulting Engineers Company, where he led industrial and utility projects focused on advanced power conversion and system optimization. From 2019 to 2023, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Queen’s University, Kingston, ON, Canada, where he is currently a Principal Research Associate. His research interests include the topology design, modulation, and control of high power converters; multilevel converter systems; AI-assisted control and optimization techniques for electric vehicle charging and hybrid energy storage systems; and the integration of power electronics into modern power systems.
