Silicon Austria Labs
Mattia Iurich joined Silicon Austria Labs (SAL), Graz, Austria, as a Scientist in the Power Electronics Division, where he is involved in several research projects focusing on high-power-density converter architectures and high-frequency operation enabled by wide-bandgap semiconductors. His professional experience spans the analysis, design, and experimental validation of advanced power converters, with particular focus on high-frequency DC-DC and AC-DC topologies, multi-objective optimization of power electronic systems, and the design of high-frequency magnetic components. His research activities target high-efficiency and high-power-density solutions for energy and e-mobility applications, including on-board chargers and next-generation power conversion systems.
