Sudhakarababu Chakkirala (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India, in 2008. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of AC-DC power converter design for various applications. He joined Power Integrations in May 2019 and has been working as a Sr. Application Engineering Manager. Previously, he held the position of principal engineer at Artesyn Embedded Technologies and as an Asst. Manager at Delta Electronics. In these roles, his primary focus was on designing and developing high efficiency, high-density AC-DC power supplies for server and telecom applications. With three patents to his name and numerous papers published in IEEJ journals and IEEE conferences, he has demonstrated his expertise and contributions to the field.
