Sombuddha Chakraborty (S’02–M’16) received the M.S and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota, MN, USA, in 2003 and 2006, respectively. From 2006 to 2007, he was a Design Engineer with General Electric Lighting Institute, Cleveland, OH, USA. From 2008 to 2013, he was a System Design Engineer and Manager with Volterra Semiconductors, Fremont, CA, USA. Since 2014, he has been with the Power Research Group, Kilby Labs, Texas Instruments, Santa Clara, CA, in the role of Design Manager. His research interests include design of high density offline and dc–dc power management system for computing, automotive, and industrial applications, exploring new process, package and circuit technologies to enhance power delivery efficiency.
