Bhuwenesh Gupta is the Applications Engineering Manager at Ideal Power, where he leads the development and commercialization of advanced B-TRAN®–based solid-state circuit breaker and power conversion technologies for data centers, aerospace, and renewable energy systems. With over two decades of experience in power electronics design and leadership across the U.S. and India, Bhuwenesh has delivered high-efficiency SiC and GaN power systems, EV powertrains, solar inverters, and energy storage solutions from concept to market. His expertise spans wide-bandgap device applications, high-frequency converter design, and digital control using TI C2000 platforms. Bhuwenesh holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Missouri, Columbia, and a Bachelor’s in Instrumentation Engineering from the University of Mumbai. He is passionate about advancing sustainable and scalable power architectures that enable the next generation of energy-efficient systems.
