    Vidhi Patel (she/her/hers)

    Dr. Vidhi Patel is a scientist specializing in power electronics at ABB USCRC, with over seven years of experience in the field. She earned her Ph.D. in System Engineering, Telecommunications, and HW/SW Platforms from the University of L’Aquila, Italy, and holds an M.Tech in Power Electronics, Machines & Drives from Nirma University, India. Her academic research focused on the development of multilevel inverter drives for e-transportation, laying the foundation for her expertise in cutting-edge power converter technologies. Dr. Patel's work revolves around the modeling and simulation of power converters, advanced converter topologies, and drive control strategies. Currently, she focuses on the design and control of power converters for drives and robotics applications, with a particular emphasis on DC-DC converters. Her work bridges the gap between theoretical research and industrial application, setting new benchmarks in power density, system reliability, and energy efficiency.
