Sneha Narasimhan is a Power Electronics Scientist at ABB Corporate Research Center, NC, USA where she is responsible for designing power converters for AC/DC or DC/AC systems used in motor drives and UPS applications. She received her B.Tech degree in EEE from Amrita School of Engineering, her M.S. degree in EE from University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and her Ph.D. degree in EE from North Carolina State University.
Dr. Narasimhan received the North Carolina State University Graduate Citizenship and Service Award in 2024 and ECE Graduate Scholar Award in 2023. She also received the IEEE Region 3 Student Professional Activities Service Award and an honorable mention for the IEEE Women in Engineering Student Volunteer Award in 2025. Currently, she serves as the PELS WIE Vice Chair and member of the PELS Mentorship Committee. She is also a member of conference organizing committees of ECCE, WIPDA and PESGRE.
