Sounak Maji received the B. Tech. degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur in 2018, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical & Computer engineering from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, USA in 2022 and 2024 respectively. He is currently employed in Texas Instruments' Kilby Labs, California. His research interests include the development of compact high-efficiency dc-dc converters for data centers and high-power high-frequency power converters for wireless power transfer applications. He received the First Place Prize Paper award in the IEEE Journal of Emerging and Selected Topics in Power electronics 2023, the First Place Best Contribution Award at IEEE WPTCE 2023 and the Best Presentation Award at IEEE APEC 2021.
