Erdem Asa (Senior Member’19) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the New York University Tandon School of Engineering, Brooklyn, NY, USA, in 2016. He is currently a R&D staff member with Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Knoxville, TN. He has authored or co-authored over 50 journals and conference papers. Before, he joined ORNL, he was a Design / Control Power Electronics Engineer with GE Aviation between 2016 to 2019. His current research interests include power converters for aviation industry, plug-in electric and hybrid electric vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles, wireless energy transfer applications, and machine learning systems (Reinforcement Learning, Supervising Learning).
