Silumin Sandaru Senanayake (M.Eng.) is a Ph.D. student with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, Nagoya University, Nagoya, Japan. He received the B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Miyazaki, Miyazaki, Japan, in 2022, and the M.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from Nagoya University, Nagoya, Japan, in 2024.
His research interests are in power-electronic converters and inverters, electromagnetic noise reduction, and wireless power transfer. He develops design and verification methods for power hardware, focusing on efficiency, reliability, and EMC compliance. His work integrates analysis, simulation, and laboratory measurements. He aims to translate research results into practical guidelines that engineers can apply in industry.
