Dr. Qinghong Yu, is currently the Senior Principle Technical Expert in Energy Management, Schneider Electric at Andover MA, and architect of next generation online UPS. He joined Schneider Electric in 2008 and has more than twenty U.S. patents. Prior to Schneider Electric, he worked in lighting industry for Osram Sylvania, His research interest is inverter and converter topologies, control, application of WBG devices, magnetic components, etc.
He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 1992 and 1997, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Auburn University, Auburn, AL, in 2002, all in electrical engineering.
Dr. Yu is a member of IEEE Power Electronics and Industry Application Society for more than twenty years.
