Efrain Bernal earned his electronics engineering degree in 2003 and a Master of Science in Computer and Electronic Engineering in 2008. He worked as scientific staff at Ulm University’s Institute of Energy Conversion and Storage in Germany, and taught as an associate professor at La Salle University in Bogotá. He completed his PhD in electrical engineering in 2017, later served as technology director for a Colombian EPC company, and since 2022 has been a product manager for passive components at Würth Elektronik eiSos in Germany.
