    T16.1 - A New Transmitter Coupling Structure with Inductive-Capacitive Decoupling System for Interoperable Dynamic Wireless Charging

    This paper proposes a novel inductive and capacitive decoupling technique for dynamic wireless power transfer (DWPT) for reduced mutual inductance (M ) fluctuations, magnetic interoperability with unipolar receiver (UPP) and bipolar receiver (BPP) couplers with reduced copper utilization. The proposed approach addresses key challenges in DWPT for electric vehicle (EV) charging, particularly the variability of M due to dynamic alignment and magnetic interoperability. The proposed coupler structure for the transmitter (Tx) includes a segmented coupler with a decoupling circuit to ensure maximum power transfer and reduce fluctuations in output. Simulation and experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed coupler structure in achieving the output voltage and current under steady state. The proposed system exhibits minimal fluctuations in output power and improved power transfer due to inductive-capacitive decoupling circuits.
