Luowei Wen is an Application Engineer and Member Group Technical Staff at Texas Instruments Incorporated. He joined TI in 2023 and has supported developing and validating the programmable isolated gate driver for high power applications, especially traction inverters. Before Joining TI, Luowei completed his Ph.D. degree in FREEDM Systems Center, North Carolina State University, NC, USA in 2023. He received his M.S. and B.S. degree in New York University and Zhejiang University in 2017 and 2014 respectively. He has over 9 years of experience on power electronics and high-power applications. His research interests include programmable gate driver design, EV traction drive, wide bandgap device modeling and application, and electromagnetic interference (EMI) modeling.
