Marco Torrisi – Senior Application Development Engineer – System Research & Applications - STMicroelectronics
Marco’s work focuses on innovating hardware and firmware designs for high-frequency and high-density power converters. He recently developed a heatsink- and cooling-free ZVS-PFC allowing 99.2% total conversion efficiency. He’s coauthor of many papers and patents in control algorithms for power converters and has started PhD research activity in model predictive control and AI applications for GaN-based SMPS power converters.
