Lionel CIMAZ - Senior Principal Engineer at STMicroelectronics
Lionel Cimaz is a Technical Staff Fellow in STMicroelectronics’ Application Specific Products division, where he drives innovation in system, analog, and digital architectures for industrial solutions. Since joining ST, he has been a key contributor to advanced power conversion and high-performance signal acquisition platforms, helping to define next generation products that combine robustness, efficiency, and precision for demanding industrial environments.
He began his career after earning an MSc in Electronics from ENIB (École Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Brest) in 1997, initially working in sound engineering before moving into microelectronics. At ST, Lionel leverages this broad expertise to architect complete industrial systems, bridging power management and signal chain design. His work supports ST’s leadership in application specific products, enabling differentiated, high-performance solutions for customers worldwide.
He is also an active contributor to the scientific community, authoring and coauthoring technical papers that disseminate ST’s innovation and foster collaboration with academic and industrial partners.
