I received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, in 2020. Following graduation, he served as an instructor in the same department. In 2021, he joined Colombo Dockyard PLC as an Electrical Design Engineer, and in 2022, he worked as a Research, Design, and Development Engineer at Lanka Electricity Company (PVT) Ltd. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering at Western Michigan University, USA, where he is with the Transportation Electrification and Applied Mechatronics Laboratory. His research interests include electrical machines and drives, power electronics, power systems, microgrids, and renewable energy systems.
