Monolithic Power Systems

Ching-Yao Liu received the B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from National Yang-Ming Chiao-Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 2018, 2021 and 2025.
He was a visiting scholar with Future Energy Electronics Center, Virginia Tech during March 2024 and April 2025. His research interests include the design of high frequency short pulse laser driver, driving circuits for both cascode GaN HEMT and Direct-Drive D-mode GaN HEMT, and the characterization, paralleling and applications in wide-bandgap power devices.
