Md. Samiul Islam Sagar is a PhD student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Alabama. His research focuses on the intersection of embedded control systems and battery technology, with a specific interest in developing a machine learning-enabled, health-aware battery management system for EV applications. He completed the MS in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University, where he conducted extensive research on antenna design, fabrication, and testing, as well as modeling of intelligent IoT based gas sensor systems.
