Mckay Waite received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Utah State University (USU), Logan, UT, USA, in 2023, and is currently working toward his Ph.D. degree at the USU Power Electronics Laboratory and the NSF Engineering Research Center for Advancing Sustainability through Powered Infrastructure for Roadway Electrification (ASPIRE). He served as co–team lead for the undergraduate team from USU that won the grand prize at the IEEE International Future Energy Challenge (IFEC) in 2022. His current research interests include the design, modeling, and control of power converters for dynamic wireless EV charging.
