The University of Auckland
I am a very enthusiastic and passionate person, in whatever I do. I believe in perfection, precision and delivering more than what is expected. Becoming an electronics design engineer has always been my passion, to combine my creativity and technical skills to change the world to make it for the future generations. Discovering a passion for teaching has helped me put my engineering knowledge and skills on a different platform, to enlighten and guide students to excel in electronics engineering. Creativity is one of my strongest attributes, which has been the driving force throughout my career.
As a female engineer, working with students where females are a minority I work towards changing this. Through role modelling, encouragement and confidence building female students are more likely to follow careers in STEM fields. My role at the university and the IEEE Women in Engineering society I extend my knowledge and services to encourage females to reach their full potential in the engineering profession.
