Lingwei Sun is an M.A.Sc student in Electrical Engineering at the University of Toronto and a member of the Smart Power Integration & Semiconductor Devices Research Group under the supervision of Professor Wai Tung Ng. Her research focuses on advanced battery management systems for second-life lithium-ion batteries, including in-situ State-of-Charge and State-of-Health estimation and current balancing strategies in parallel battery configurations. She also investigates smart gate driver architectures for dynamic switching and thermal balancing in power systems. She received her B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering with High Honors from the University of Toronto, along with minors in Engineering Business and Artificial Intelligence Engineering.
