Ignacio Lope received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering and the Ph.D. degree in power electronics from the University of Zaragoza, Zaragoza, Spain, in 2010 and 2015, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor with the University of Zaragoza. From 2015 to 2022, he was with BSH Home Appliances, Zaragoza, Spain, and also served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Zaragoza, contributing to the development of domestic induction heating systems. His research interests include induction heating applications, electromagnetic modeling of inductively coupled contactless energy transfer systems, and magnetic loss modeling. Dr. Lope is a member of the Instituto de Investigación en Ingeniería de Aragón (I3A).
