Israel Yepez Lopez (Student Member, IEEE) is a doctoral assistant at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland.
Israel received the B.Sc. degree in Electronics Engineering from Universidad de Colima (UdeC), Colima, Mexico, in 2020, and the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí (UASLP), San Luis Potosí, Mexico, in 2022. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree at the Power Electronics Laboratory (PEL) of the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). His research interests include the design and optimization of GaN-based MHz-range inductive power transfer systems for auxiliary power supplies of medium voltage high-power electronics converters.
