Hongming Zhao is an Industrial PhD student at Bosch in Germany, collaborating with KU Leuven in Belgium. His research focuses on critical aspects of power electronics, including gate driver ASIC design, advanced dead time control, and optimized control strategies for SiC/GaN power semiconductors. Hongming holds a Master's degree in Micro and Nanotechnology for Integrated Systems from an international joint program involving EPFL, Politecnico di Torino, and Grenoble INP Phelma. He earned dual Bachelor degrees in Electronics Engineering from KU Leuven (Belgium) and the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2021.
